Welcome and Come On In

This blog is dedicated to discovering more about variations of billiards, different techniques to increase levels of play, and most importantly, to learn more about yourself.  The idea behind the Billiards Puzzle is that since we are complex creatures, we have various faces that form a puzzle.   When the faces are aligned, we are in complete control of ourselves, and should reach a level of centering and satisfaction that makes billiards enjoyable for us at any level of play.  When the pieces are out of alignment, our game struggles.  But in addition to the game, failure to be centered and taking care of our needs can spread to other areas of our lives.  CJ Wiely, an American Professional billiards player, is famous for saying “The Game is the Teacher.”  I could agree with him more.  I hope as you learn more about this game, you will also learn more about yourself both as a player, and a person.  In just over a month, this blog has gone on to have a following that started with two people, to nearly eight hundred.  I hope browsing through it helps you as much as it has helped each of them, and thank you for the support all of you continually show.   Now, shall we begin?

  1. You have a great handle on this idea. I would like to see more videos and showing of all these discussions.
